Prime Meridian Docks (Ghana) Limited has signed an LOI for construction of a new Floating Dock for the Ship Repair Facility in the port of Takoradi Ghana. Prime Meridian Docks (Ghana) has made the first deposit to start the engineering phase of the floating dock. The dock will be built by Jiangsu Haixin Shipping Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (Add: Haimen city, Jiangsu Province, Peoples Republic of China).
Prime Meridian Docks provides ship owners with a cost-effective port-call option for planned and unplanned maintenance, repairs, inspection and re-certification, modifications and refits. The facility supports offshore project mobilizations, as well as asset preservation, lay-up stacking & reactivation. The company also holds Free Zone Enterprise Status, enabling it to offer customers competitive pricing and a more efficient service delivery due to the minimal customs procedures for imports of spares and parts.
